SSL Heartbleed - Security Update

Information regarding the Heartbleed bug vulnerability in the OpenSSL cryptographic library was publically released on Monday 4/7/2014. This Heartbeat SSL flaw is putting certain Linux distributions at risk and has widespread implications as OpenSSL is used by roughly two-thirds of all websites on the Internet.

This vulnerability could potentially expose a web user's login and password to hackers.

The Nix*-like operating systems that were affected include:

Debian Wheezy (Stable), OpenSSL 1.0.1e-2+deb7u4)
Ubuntu 12.04.4 LTS, OpenSSL 1.0.1-4ubuntu5.11)
CentOS 6.5, OpenSSL 1.0.1e-15)
Fedora 18, OpenSSL 1.0.1e-4
OpenBSD 5.3 (OpenSSL 1.0.1c) и 5.4 (OpenSSL 1.0.1c)
FreeBSD 8.4 (OpenSSL 1.0.1e) и 9.1 (OpenSSL 1.0.1c)
NetBSD 5.0.2 (OpenSSL 1.0.1e)
OpenSUSE 12.2 (OpenSSL 1.0.1c)

Our Tech Staff has installed the fix to OpenSSL on our public access servers immediately and proactively eliminated any possible security risk.
