SMS Notifications Move To Beta
As part of our continued aim to help our users manage there accounts more effectively we are now introducing text message alerts. This beta trial is available to all users and we encourage you to give it a go. You will never receive any promotional texts, The only alerts we will send are in relation to your account.
Here's what we will text you about
1) New Account Information
2) New Invoice's
3) New Support Ticket Responses
4) Tickets Opened By An Admin
5) Service Password Changes
How To Setup The Service
1) login to your client account at https://first2host.co.uk
2) From the menu bar hover over "Customer Links"
3) Select SMS Notification Settings
Your now on the SMS settings page, tick the box next to the word "Deactivated"
4) In the mobile text field enter your number **IMPORTANT** you need to enter this in an exact way, For example if you live in the UK your would enter your number like this - 447123456789
As standard we will send you a notification 15 days and 1 day before any services expire, You will also get a text when we respond to support tickets, Change a service password, and more. The cost of this service is free. We will start to roll this out in a staged process as our customer base is quite large we don't want to overload the system. If you don't receive texts right away don't worry, once the system is up and running for everyone any delay will disappear. A beta forum to report errors will be created in the forums, Please use this to report any bugs.
